As a lifelong animal lover, I have always wanted to work with animals, and training has infused such joy in my life. Let me show you how training your puppy or dog can build a rewarding partnership based on positive reinforcement.
The basis of my training method is with the use of a clicker, a method of dog training taught by the Karen Pryor Academy. These training methods seem so simple, yet they are based on scientific research.
All methods implemented in training your dog are based on the science that a desired behavior, such as coming when called, is positively reinforced. This method of training has been carefully studied and proven time and again to produce confident and happy dogs.

As a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy, a highly recognized school for dog trainers, I have had comprehensive instruction on positive training techniques based on the science of behavior. Always working toward continuing my education, I attend seminars and training to better understand dogs and animal behavior.

Obedience training is a great way to improve the bond between you and your dog or puppy. You will find that your dog will look to you for guidance, and stressful situations will be reduced to a minimum. Training can increase chances that your dog will remain safe and secure in the human world. It is never too early or too late to start training classes.
Louise started working with Amazing Grace when she was nine weeks old. As Louise worked with Gracie, she explained and demonstrated each step we should follow to be consistent in our delivery of commands. Gracie quickly responded to Louise's positive training methods and her skills continue to improve to this day.
Louise is fantastic to work with! She did a wonderful job of teaching our whole family how to have a great relationship with our puppy. She's super encouraging with people and dogs which I needed! I really love her positive approach. We started with 5 sessions to get our puppy on the right track and then we've loved having her come back to help us with specific training issues we've run into - like introducing a new kitten to our house! Working with Louise is a the best investment in the lifelong enjoyment we will have with our dog.
